Buddha-Bar Manila is part of a global chain of high class restaurant-lounges located in cities such as Paris, Dubai, and New York.
It is a 7-star restaurant, bar and lounge franchise located in major cities around the world, and is now in Manila!
This establishment is impressively spacious, with two floors, numerous balconies and an outside terrace with a pool, offering local and foreign clients the possibility of enjoying diverse atmospheres.
The original restaurant is a Buddha-themed "upscale bar-restaurant with an orientalist 'lounge' ambience" serving Asian cuisine
The theme was inspired by the discovery of the space to be used, an antique basement archive with a mezzanine, "which suggested to the architects the idea of an oriental temple and its Buddha"
This venue takes on a party atmosphere. Some big events are often held here. Actually, on the day that we visited here, there was a product launching that was attended by famous celebrities so we could see gorgeous models and stars. Because of that event, we were afraid then that we might not be able to dine here. We thought that it might need a reservation and we didn't make any. But we still tried to ask and fortunately, they still accepted us as their guests though we couldn't choose any place there to stay aside from the terrace.
This place is so rich and I really like the ambience of this lovely restaurant.
It is fancy and very solemn inside the resto and they have a solemn background music playing to make the customers not to get bored.
The staffs were eloquent and friendly without obstructing privacy.
All dishes are prepared to our family style concept; they can be shared among guests, and are served in large dishes rather than individual plates.
The menu boasts of signature dishes such as Chicken Salad Chinese style, Tuna with Sesame & Shitake Vinaigrette and more.

The bird is first marinated in spiced yogurt before being roasted in a very hot oven then cooked to a moistness that fans out on your tongue, suffusing it with the succulence of meat and juice. The zesty sauce from the marinade and serve the pieces of chicken with grilled chilis.

Truly, this restaurant is high-class. This place deserves the credit to have well-dressed and presentable guests because the interior design screams elegance and sophistication.
Wearing sandos, slippers and shorts is prohibited, and Buddha-Bar reserves its right to refuse customers going in when they are not in proper attire.
The food is great, the drinks and the music makes the overall experience fantastic!!!!! :)
